Aunt Cathy’s Old Time Potion

Stir with ice:
3 oz dry red wine
1 oz Averell Damson Gin
0.5 oz Campari
1 dash Fee Brothers Black Walnut Bitters
1 dash Fee Brothers Cardamom Bitters
2 dashes orange bitters
Strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with an orange twist.

Cayuga Cup

Build in a collins glass filled with ice:
2 oz Averell Damson Gin
3 oz ginger ale, lemon soda, orange soda or lime soda
Garnish with seasonal fruit, a slice of cucumber, and a lemon wedge.

Count of Mount Kisco

Stir with ice:
1 oz Averell Damson Gin
1 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth de Chambéry
1 oz Salers Gentian Apéritif
Strain into a double rocks glass filled with ice.
Garnish with a grapefruit peel.

Damson Dove

Dry shake:
3 oz Averell Damson Gin
0.5 oz lemon juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
1 egg white
Shake again with ice.
Strain into a coupe.
Garnish with an orange peel.

Damson Gin Fizz

Build in a collins glass filled with ice:
2 oz Averell Damson Gin
0.25 oz lemon juice
4 oz club soda

Damson Royale

Stir with ice:
1 oz Averell Damson Gin
0.5 oz lemon juice
Strain into a flute.
Top with 3 oz sparkling wine.
Garnish with lemon peel.

Damson Syrup

Combine:
6 oz Averell Damson Gin
6 oz white sugar
Stir to dissolve.

Damson-Pisco Sour

Dry shake:
1 oz Averell Damson Gin
1 oz pisco
0.5 oz lime juice
0.5 oz agave nectar
1 egg white
Shake again with ice.
Strain into a coupe.
Garnish with Chuncho Amargo bitters dropped into the foam and swirled.

Mabel Berra

Shake with ice:
1 oz Kronan Swedish Punsch
0.75 oz Averell Damson Gin
0.75 oz lime juice
Strain into a coupe.

Spruce Goose

Shake with ice:
1 oz Averell Damson Gin
0.5 oz Hayman’s London Dry Gin
0.5 oz maraschino liqueur
0.5 oz lemon juice
Double-strain into a coupe.
Garnish with a lemon zest.

Stone Cooler

Shake with ice:
0.75 oz Averell Damson Gin
0.75 oz Blume Marillen Apricot Eau-de-Vie
0.75 oz Cocchi Americano Bianco
0.5 oz lemon juice
Strain into a coupe.
Top with 1 oz sparkling wine.
Garnish with a lemon peel.
